What the Job Involves
This role involves identifying and supporting children in need or at risk, children with disabilities, care leavers, and homeless young people in line with Cardiff Children's Service eligibility criteria and legal mandates. You will engage with individuals through telephone discussions to help resolve their issues, enhance their independence, and direct them to appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies. Moreover, you contribute to developing systems that ensure quality service delivery across the city while identifying at-risk individuals. Collaborating with colleagues from various sectors is crucial to maintaining a coordinated, multi-agency approach.
