Who You Are

A highly skilled HGV Technician with expertise in servicing, inspecting, repairing, diagnosing, and maintaining council fleet vehicles. You have a strong background in managing both hydraulic and electrical equipment in specialized vehicle bodies.

What the Job Involves

Based in Trostre Depot, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of council fleet vehicles. This includes performing regular servicing, detailed inspections, prompt repairs, accurate diagnostics, and comprehensive maintenance on various vehicle types, focusing particularly on hydraulics and specialized electrical systems. Your schedule will be Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4pm, and Friday from 8am to 3.30pm.

Skills

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in light or heavy motor vehicle engineering
• Proficiency in servicing and maintaining vehicle hydraulics and electrical systems
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Valid Driving Licence – Minimum Category B
