Who You Are
You are an experienced Senior Practitioner eager to contribute to our improvement journey in Herefordshire. You have at least three years of experience in statutory social care and are fully qualified (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). You are committed to enhancing the lives of children and families. Your expertise in assessment, report writing, and managing complex caseloads is crucial to our mission of creating a relationship-based model of practice.
What the Job Involves
This role involves working within the Children with Disabilities team to support and supervise staff, including Social Workers and other staff within the Directorate and partner agencies. Your work will span various aspects of children's journeys, including assessment work, short break assessments, child protection, and court work, ensuring consistency and quality in social work practices. This position offers an opportunity to significantly impact children and young people in Herefordshire during our restorative journey of improvement.
