Who You Are
We are looking for Social Workers who are passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families. You should be skilled in assessment, planning, and delivering interventions. Committed to working collaboratively, inclusively, and creatively, you should be resilient, reflective, and confident in making difficult decisions. You must be able to work effectively within a supportive team environment and be registered with Social Work England, holding a recognized Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with 3 years post-qualification experience.
What the Job Involves
As a Children's Social Worker in the Safeguarding & Support teams, you will work directly with children, young people, and their families to create meaningful, lasting change. Your role involves building trusting relationships, offering early help and support, and taking decisive action to ensure children are safe and thriving. You will work collaboratively with families, empowering them to overcome challenges while keeping the child’s voice at the center of everything we do. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact on the local authority and help improve and protect the children and young people within it.
