You are an experienced social worker with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, having completed your ASYE. You possess strong court skills and a proven track record in Safeguarding. As a car driver with access to a vehicle, you are ready to join a supportive and dynamic team in Liverpool Children's Services. Your commitment to collaborative practice improvement aligns with our vision to enhance outcomes for children and families in Liverpool.
What the Job Involves
This role involves working within the Safeguarding team in Liverpool, contributing to service improvement and practice development. You will participate in a hybrid working model, with 3 days in Liverpool per week, and engage with a supportive team and management structure. Your responsibilities will include reflective supervision, utilizing support services such as Family Group Conference Service, and collaborating with family support workers and the Early Help Offer. An initial 3-month contract provides stability for our children and young people, with potential extensions based on performance and service needs.
