Who You Are

You are an experienced professional with a strong background in managing CIN/CP and PLO work, as well as handling section 47 investigations. You excel in fast-paced environments and are capable of making critical decisions efficiently. Enthusiastic about developing your understanding of St Helens practice standards, you are dedicated to achieving outstanding practice.

What the Job Involves

You will be part of the Duty Service team, which responds to all referrals received from the MASH. Your role involves initiating assessments and developing plans for children. As part of your duties, you will be on duty once every four weeks, responding to referrals and conducting necessary assessments. The Duty Team operates on a short-term basis, holding cases briefly until a plan is in place for cases to step down, or for CP and PLO cases to transfer at the first planning meeting. The role includes a supportive environment with regular supervision and assistance from a dedicated practice support team. While primarily a temporary position, it involves a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of two days in the office per week, with full-time attendance during duty weeks.
