What the Job Involves
This role involves overseeing the allocation and management of temporary accommodation units, including emergency housing. You will control activities related to admissions and discharges to maximize the efficient use of available accommodation. The role requires minimizing the use of shared accommodation for families, tracking and monitoring clients, and ensuring timely movement from temporary housing. Successful candidates will liaise with emergency accommodation providers, handle complaints, conduct property visits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards. Administrative duties such as record-keeping and coordinating lease agreements are also critical to the position.
