What the Job Involves
In this role, you will perform contractual street cleansing tasks and drive Council vehicles as needed, following daily route schedules under the supervision of the Manager (Refuse & Cleansing)/Supervisors. Compliance with health and safety regulations is crucial, and you will need to report any incidents or accidents promptly. The position also includes supervisory responsibilities for cleansing operatives and requires working a rostered shift pattern, including weekends and holidays.
