What the Job Involves

As a Senior Estate Surveyor, you provide strategic property advice across a variety of assets, ensuring their optimal use for the Council's benefit. You'll manage commercial lease events, ensure assets are safe and compliant, and handle the strategic disposal and acquisition of assets. The role includes managing property agents and contractors, monitoring lease arrangements, and leading major regeneration projects. You'll also develop working relationships with public sector providers and participate in a Council-wide process of property reviews. Additionally, you'll manage a team, assist in tender and evaluation processes, and respond to enquiries and liaise with external bodies.
