Mailroom Courier Driver

Who You Are

A dedicated and experienced driver with a minimum of 4 years driving experience, ideally within a mail distribution environment. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and possess a keen understanding of Local Authority Policies & Procedures, Health & Safety policies, and Data Protection legislation. You hold a full endorsement-free driving license and have completed Manual Handling training.

What the Job Involves

As a Mailroom Courier Driver, you will be responsible for sorting, delivering, and collecting various mailroom items across countywide buildings. Your role involves managing personal workloads, operating vehicles in line with policies, and maintaining them to high cleanliness standards. You will be accountable for adhering to operational procedures, meeting delivery targets, and alerting management to any service provision issues. You shall participate in training, embrace the NCC corporate image, and ensure smooth completion of the daily courier run while maintaining Resource Hubs and ensuring compliance with agreed SLA's.
