What the Job Involves
Your role involves managing an allocated caseload, handling routine social work interventions, and escalating more complex cases. You will work as part of a team to support individuals needing care and support, their families and carers, by identifying and assessing risks, developing care and support plans, and recommending external support when needed. You will apply Social Worker techniques to promote positive outcomes and ensure that plans based on assessments are evidence-based, reviewed, and modified appropriately. When on duty, you will respond to cases immediately and effectively, undertaking assessments and planning immediate crisis responses to manage potential risks.
