Who You Are
- You are organized, analytical, and motivated to make a difference in environmental programs.
- You have experience in supporting or coordinating projects or programs with multiple workstreams.
- You possess a working understanding of ecology, biodiversity, or habitat management.
- You have the ability to review technical information and provide clear, practical advice.
- You are confident working with a range of stakeholders across different sectors.
What the Job Involves
- Coordinating a major, multi-year Landscape Recovery programme.
- Supporting governance, funding, and reporting aspects of environmental initiatives.
- Reviewing planning applications and ensuring biodiversity and BNG requirements are secured.
- Providing evidence-based advice by assessing ecological information.
- Supporting and contributing to habitat management plans for long-term environmental outcomes.
- Using and interpreting GIS and spatial data to inform decisions and programme delivery.
- Collaborating with partners such as Natural England, consultants, landowners, and internal teams.
- This role is focused on making things happen at scale, not just field-based ecology work.
Skills
- Project coordination in environmental programs
