Who You Are

  • You are organized, analytical, and motivated to make a difference in environmental programs.
  • You have experience in supporting or coordinating projects or programs with multiple workstreams.
  • You possess a working understanding of ecology, biodiversity, or habitat management.
  • You have the ability to review technical information and provide clear, practical advice.
  • You are confident working with a range of stakeholders across different sectors.

What the Job Involves

  • Coordinating a major, multi-year Landscape Recovery programme.
  • Supporting governance, funding, and reporting aspects of environmental initiatives.
  • Reviewing planning applications and ensuring biodiversity and BNG requirements are secured.
  • Providing evidence-based advice by assessing ecological information.
  • Supporting and contributing to habitat management plans for long-term environmental outcomes.
  • Using and interpreting GIS and spatial data to inform decisions and programme delivery.
  • Collaborating with partners such as Natural England, consultants, landowners, and internal teams.
  • This role is focused on making things happen at scale, not just field-based ecology work.

Skills
