You are a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with over two years of post-qualification experience. You possess substantial experience in handling complex legal cases, particularly in children's social care, adult social care, and health-related matters. You're a proactive individual who continuously seeks improvement opportunities and effectively manages a heavy and diverse workload.
What the job involves
The role involves managing a caseload of complex legal cases, providing timely and accurate legal advice, and conducting court proceedings. As a Solicitor, you will research, draft, and negotiate legal documents under the supervision of senior legal staff. You are expected to instruct counsel and solicitors on complex cases, provide training to colleagues and clients, and ensure client care with regular updates and information on legal costs. Additionally, you'll maintain records as per Lexcel requirements and work collaboratively within the Legal Services Team to enhance service delivery.
