Role

Who You Are

You are a resilient, reflective, and emotionally intelligent qualified social worker with registration from Social Work England. You have experience working with adolescents in complex and high-risk contexts, demonstrating a strong understanding of contextual safeguarding, risk assessment, and safety planning. Your approach is relational and trauma-informed, and you are capable of managing a complex caseload in a fast-paced environment. You are confident in making sound professional decisions, committed to building strong relationships with young people, and contribute positively to a busy and supportive team.

What the Job Involves

This role involves providing high-quality social work support to children aged 14–18 in our care, aimed at promoting their safety, stability, and development as they transition toward adulthood. You will effectively manage a caseload, develop and review care plans, and engage in direct work with young people to support their emotional well-being, resilience, and independence. You will identify and respond to safeguarding risks, and work collaboratively with families, networks, and multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated responses to risk and vulnerability. The environment is fast-paced and demanding, requiring strong organizational skills, resilience, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
