You are an experienced leader passionate about children's welfare, with a strong background in social work. You are committed to compliance, quality assurance, and collaborative approaches to foster a supportive and effective team environment. You are driven to listen to and act upon the needs of young people, ensuring their safety, legal permanency, and educational progress.

What the Job Involves

In this role, you will lead and manage a team of social workers, providing them with supervision, support, and professional development. You will ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures, and uphold parenting in partnership responsibilities. The job involves driving the participation agenda for children and young people, achieving legal permanency for children, embedding life story work, and ensuring the contextual safeguarding of children. You will collaborate with partners, focus on education and learning, manage budgets and resources, develop legislative changes, and maintain accurate records while preparing reports as necessary.
