What the Job Involves
The role requires managing the day-to-day operations of a workshop, ensuring efficient delivery of maintenance services for Plymouth City Council's fleet. Responsibilities include adhering to VOSA regulations and Health & Safety standards, managing a team of operational staff, and overseeing a service budget of £750k. You will also maintain legal compliance, optimize productivity, and enhance service delivery. Additionally, the job involves liaising with clients, managing an MOT station, and delivering commercial services. Effective management of stocks and documentation, as well as resolving customer complaints, are key aspects of this role.
