Job Title: Young Ambassador - Children and Young People’s Services
Who You Are
We are seeking passionate young people aged 16 – 25 who are eager to make a difference through their ideas and experiences. You will have a history of receiving support from Children and Young People’s Services and be confident in sharing your lived experiences to improve these services. Reliability, self-motivation, and an openness to learning and development are key qualities we value.
What the Job Involves
As a Young Ambassador, you will use your experiences to help improve services for other young people in Liverpool. You will join a group of Ambassadors to ensure that young people’s ideas and perspectives influence decision-making at all levels. Your role involves reviewing practice, mentoring senior leaders, and representing young people's views in strategic meetings such as the Corporate Parenting Board sub-groups. You will commit to up to 10 flexible hours per month, with compensation provided.
