Role

Who You Are

As a Social Worker, you are committed to working with children, young people, and their families/carers. You are adept at planning and leading assessments, identifying strengths, resilience, vulnerabilities, developmental needs, and risks. You collaborate with families and partners to devise strategies that address various needs, manage risks, and reduce vulnerabilities. You work independently under the supervision of a Team Manager and participate in team activities to continually enhance service delivery.

What the Job Involves

Your role encompasses assessing and planning services for children and families in alignment with the Nottinghamshire practice framework. You are responsible for maintaining accurate records, writing reports, and ensuring compliance with legislation and departmental policies. You work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency colleagues to develop and review outcome-focused plans. Your duties may extend to various responsibilities, including participating in team meetings and contributing to service development while ensuring personal adherence to health and safety codes, equality practices, and GDPR regulations.
