What the Job Involves

Your role involves managing enforcement cases efficiently and effectively, adhering to both national and local planning policies. You will prepare comprehensive documentation, including Enforcement and Breach Notices, and conduct timely site visits to assess potential planning breaches. Staying informed on relevant legislation is crucial, as is your ability to work collaboratively within the Planning Service and with external partners. Your work will support the Council in making defensible enforcement decisions that withstand scrutiny at appeals and in court.
