What the Job Involves
The role involves ensuring the efficient and effective consideration and resolution of enforcement cases in line with the Council's Planning Enforcement Plan. This includes preparing comprehensive written reports such as Enforcement Notices and Appeal Statements. You will conduct site visits, maintain current knowledge of planning legislation, and collaborate with internal and external partners to address enforcement matters. Your contributions will ensure that the Council's decisions are defendable in both appeals and court cases, embodying the Council’s values in delivering high-quality customer service.
