Who You Are

You are an experienced social worker specializing in services for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC). You have a strong background in completing UASC/Age Assessments and extensive knowledge of Looked After Children and Children in Care.

What the Job Involves

This role is based in a specialist service, requiring regular trips to Liverpool, with 2-3 days onsite per week and 5 days onsite during the monthly duty week. The position is a 35-hour week, 3-month initial contract, offering £40 per hour. You will have access to regular supervision, training, and development opportunities. Free car parking is available outside the city at Parklands, L24 0TY.

Skills

• Experience in UASC/Age Assessments
• Strong knowledge of Looked After Children/Children in Care
• Sound understanding of relevant children's legislation and statutory guidance
• Familiarity with relevant processes, procedures, and frameworks
