What the Job Involves

As a Supervising Social Worker for Foster Wales Denbighshire, your primary role is to ensure the safety and well-being of children in need of support, in line with statutory requirements and organizational priorities. You will work in partnership with external agencies and families, provide direct social work services, manage a caseload of varied complexity, and ensure that assessments and reviews are completed within statutory timescales. Additional responsibilities include safeguarding investigations, preparing written reports, contributing to team development, and promoting anti-discriminatory practices throughout all interactions. A key aspect of this role is to prepare, lead, and minute meetings effectively, ensuring that service users are at the center of all decision-making processes.
