You are an experienced EDT Advanced Practitioner with expertise in handling complex child and family care cases. You thrive in emergency situations and possess the ability to assess, plan, and execute care strategies outside of regular office hours. Your depth of knowledge and risk management skills enable you to provide a safe, child-focused service aimed at securing the well-being and development of children and young people in crisis.
What the Job Involves
This role requires you to be the first point of contact for emergencies involving children and young people outside normal office hours. You will identify, assess, and plan care for those requiring immediate attention. You are responsible for out-of-hours assessment and care planning, attending crisis situations as necessary to evaluate and manage risk. You will also contribute to maintaining team credibility by dealing with complex cases and providing expertise and advice in child and family care work. The role involves shift work, sleeper shifts, and requires working two weekends out of four.
